A redraw of an old fanart of these two! I missed my boys very much and Needed to draw them again, and also a friend of mine started streaming their first playthrough of Curse of Darkness and that helps lol

I'm definitely happier with how this turned out than I was with the old piece from 2016! Posing, angle, figuring out how to parse the canon designs; of course, I did keep the slightly divergent short coat on Isaac instead of the long one from the manga, but this one looks better on him anyway.

Average Castlevania Curse of Darkness review on youtube: The story is not the strongest, things are never explained, characters like Trevor appear out of nowhere and can't be seen in game.

Castlevania Curse of Darkness be like: Explains the conflict within the first few minutes, the story gives you an idea of what has happened, IS LITERALLY A VIDEOGAME where it's NORMAL for side characters to just not be around the castle with you.

Honestly my personal favourite scene with these two is exactly this-- making good use out of Death's human guises. And honestly if you're gonna simp for a vampire for an entire millennium I can't imagine that Death doesn't love the taste of blood, himself, or have a Thing for getting sucked dry like a juice box
